The Art of the (Partial) Stage
Staging is a powerful tool in selling a home. We’ve shared plenty of staging stories in the past, including a full renovation of a historic Mill District condo, and an example of how staging can warm up an industrial loft.
Not all clients who can benefit from staging want or need to have their vacant home set up with new furniture. Sometimes a partial stage is just what the real estate agent ordered, where the stager brings in some furniture and styling to complement what is already present.
In two recent listings, Becca at GDS Interiors came in to work her magic with a partial stage. She helped identify the style of the home, which pieces would work best for listing, arrange for move out as necessary, styled using furniture from the sellers, and supplemented with some furniture and accessorizing.
Both listings sold quickly at or above full price, and the sellers were thrilled with the results. Scroll on to see some partial staging inspiration.
