It’s time to celebrate summer! Minneapolis is full of festivals, entertainment, and art, and so we’ve pulled together a list of some of the most anticipated summer happenings.

 

STONE ARCH bridge FESTIVAL

june 20th & 21st

Spanning the riverfront area on W. River Parkway from 11th Ave S to N. 4th Avenue, the festival hosts over 200 artists from across the US, live music, family events, and specialty markets.

 

Music and Movies in the Park

 
 

All Summer Long, May - September

Music and Movies in the Parks, presented by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is a free, city-wide program bringing live music and outdoor films to parks across Minneapolis every day of summer.

 

Markets on Main

Every Saturday from June -Mid-October

Markets on Main returns for its second year in the historic Saint Anthony Main neighborhood of Minneapolis, offering a space for browsing goods from farmers, florists, makers, and vintage sellers.

 

TWIN CITIES PRIDE FESTIVAL

 
 

june 26th - JUNE 28th

The Twin Cities Pride Festival is Minnesota’s second largest festival and the largest FREE Pride festival. Highlighting the best in LGBTQIA+ entertainment on 3 stages, Twin Cities Pride Festival featuring over 650 vendors, including LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC community resources, artists, and businesses. 

 

AQUATENNIAL

 
 

July 18th - 26th

Aquatennial is the official civic celebration of the City of Minneapolis, celebrating the best of Summer in Minneapolis and all it has to offer. This year’s Aquatennial Celebration include a torchlight parade, water skiing exhibition, Aqua Night with the Minnesota Twins, and firework celebration.

America’s largest dinner party returns with an open air celebration of cuisine and community on Nicollet Mall.
