Building Spotlight Series: Harvester Lofts

harvester Lofts

Harvester Lofts is a historic warehouse turned boutique condo building, located in the middle of Minneapolis’ Warehouse Historic District.

Harvester Lofts was built in 1916 as the International Harvester Building . The International Harvester Company of America at the time was the largest producer of harvesting machines in the United States. The company used the building as a warehouse and offices through the 1920s.

The building was revitalized and turned into a boutique condo building of 43 units starting in 2007. Harvester Lofts, as it is now known, features soaring ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, concrete columns and floors, and oversized balconies. It is a professionally managed, secure building that sits squarely in the center of the North Loop.

North loop

Perhaps no neighborhood in Minneapolis has received as much national attention as the North Loop. The former warehouse district is the place to be for this who live by the work hard, play harder mentality. The North Loop is an urban walker’s paradise, with something new and exciting happening on every block. With an abundance of trendy restaurants, small boutiques, and independent breweries, the North Loop is meant for a night out or a day at Target Field.
