Zenith Condos is a boutique building located in the heart of the Mill District, providing contemporary style to a historic neighborhood.

Zenith Condos was built in 2007. The building was developed Sherman Associates. The architects were ESG, who have also constructed other local landmarks such as the Hewing Hotel, Smack Shack, and Omni Hotel Viking Lakes. Zenith Condos follows the credo of architect and ESG partner David Graham, who referred to himself as a “city-building architect” and shared his vision that, “Surrounding these residential buildings, which are often referred to as podium-point towers, should be a high-quality streetscape with greenspace, benches, public art, and sustainable landscaping for people to meet, gather, and enjoy.”

Zenith Condos was built as part of the Mill District revitalization and is meant to be part of a more livable, denser, city. It sits directly across the street from Gold Medal Park and offers easy walking access to the Mississippi, Mill Ruins Park, and the Stone Arch Bridge.

Zenith Condos is a nine story building, with two penthouses. It is made of steel and concrete, with the steel switching colors from red to grey along vertical lines, making the building almost look like it twists. The hallmark of the building are the oversized windows and generous balconies, allowing for uninterrupted views of the city. The homes are full of contemporary lines and elegant touches.

Nestled along the river, the Mill District is one of the most historic neighborhoods in Minneapolis. In the 19th century the Mill District supported the booming milling industry in its peak, including the then largest flour mill in the world. It is now a bustling neighborhood of mixed historic and contemporary homes, abundant parks, and locally owned businesses.
