CFG's Favorite Things: Summer Patios
Dining outside is magic. When enjoying a meal al fresco the food tastes better, the drinks are more refreshing, and the company is delightful. This week we’re sharing our current favorite downtown dining and drinking destinations for
outdoor eating.
Get Fancy
The buzziest address in the city is certainly Four Seasons. Riva Terrace is the spot to see and be seen. Enjoy lounging or dining with Mediterranean inspired fare, music, and specialty drinks available for Happiest Hour.
Porzana is known for their refined Argentinian food and steaks, and they deserve equal recognition for their charming European-style alley patio.
All Saints has a hydrangea filled patio that’s the perfect pairing for their incredible veggie focused meat friendly food.
Casually Chic
Owamni by The Sioux Chef is nationally renowned for its decolonized food, cocktails, and mocktails unlike anything any other restaurant is doing. And it’s all done overlooking the Saint Anthony Falls, with a patio in the most gorgeous setting.
Monte Carlo has been around for over a century for good reason. It’s one of our favorite spots to enjoy chicken wings, shrimp cocktail, and old school service.
Aster House has the whole package- elegant Midwestern fare, jazzy vibes, and a large patio on Main Street that’s hosting Yacht Rock Wednesdays all summer.
Chill Out
The best place to celebrate a Twins game is the bustling Fulton Taproom to hang out before or after a Twins game.
Pryes Brewing is glorious on a sunny day to enjoy a pint and a pizza right off the banks of the Mississippi.
The wonderful neighborhood restaurant Rosalia now has two locations, one in Linden Hills and one in Northeast, for enjoying their charred cauliflower and inventive pizzas.
The stunning rooftop at Gai Noi overlooks Loring Park, and that gorgeous view is completely overshadowed by its contemporary Laotian cuisine.
